Activities
There are lots of
lovely walks in the area, many accessible directly from Yew Tree House
and others within short bus/car journeys. There are also well
marked cycle routes offering quiet country lanes or mountain bike
routes for the more adventurous!

We have facilties for storing cycles and a puncture kit is
available!
Horse riding is also available at local stables including the Kilnsey Trekking & Riding
Centre.
There is plenty of good quality rock climbing available at Kilnsey,

Annual Events
Grassington Festival
This is held in June of each year and is very
popular. If you wish to come then please book early! Artists
for 2009 will include The Hollies, Alfie Boe, Jason Manford and the
Fron Male Voice Choir. Events include concerts, films, street theatre,
visual arts, and even a lecture by the veteran cricket commentator
Henry Blofeld!
